I've found various applications that do things like disable ActiveSync or make Syncing manual only, but I actually like the phone constantly updating itself while in the docking bay because I change contact info and scheduling fairly frequently and don't want to have to worry about remembering to sync up before I leave.

The problem is, if I'm playing a video game or watching a movie fullscreen on my PC, and I take the phone off the docking bay and then put it back on, ActiveSync becomes the active program for a second and steals focus away from the fullscreen application I'm running. It's annoying when watching movies, game ruining in the middle of a game. I unchecked "open ActiveSync when my device connects" in the ActiveSync settings, so it doesn't actually pop up anymore, but this doesn't prevent it from stealing focus.

I'm using ActiveSync 4.5 and running WM6 on the phone.
