When I first began flashing my touch pro 1, I had to use hardspl to unlock security, then JD provided us with RUU to flash his custom roms.

1-download, and extract Custom RUU from CFay's thread

2-download the rom you desure.
3-extract the downloaded desire, and rename it RUU_signed.nbh
4-Put the RUU_signed.nbh in to the Custom RUU folder.
5-Make sure the phone is synced, and flash away by executing the Romupdateutility..
