Im confused about the 39.99 minimum plan though. We share all our minutes, which is why I thought the 9.99 for another line to share those minutes came in. Isnt that what the 9.99 means? Why would I have to get a minute plan if Im paying the 9.99 to use the minutes that my main phone is paying for? Or am I misunderstanding the whole thing?

sorry the 39.99 minimum was for a single line. for family, depending how you set it up. im guessing its all split up. so due to my misunderstanding you could add the line for 9.99 and just pay the little portion that the "non user" line would have.. for example
for example if your plan is 60 you would split it
mom: 9.99
brother 1: 9.99
brother 2: 9.99
son: 9.99
you: 9.99
non-user:9.99
so it would most likely be whatever you pay now + your son + the fake user.
so yes you can add the extra line. when you add the line and get a new phone you might have to switch it online. so you get the new phone and the fake user will have the i910
as far as upgrade goes i guess it varies per client. as i was sayin for me they said i could upgrade on Nov 1st since i been a customer for 10 months. the catch is if i want to get the phone real cheap i would have to sign 2 years(which i dont mind) im guessin the O2 will only cost me 199.99 on 2 years which is great. if i go month to month they will make me pay full price which im sure will be close to 6 or 7 hundred. then in Sept 2010 they said i could upgrade again because of the every 2 program, which is pretty cool. so i guess it depends.
