Re: What is the problem with my TP's GPS?

Real interesting. I never have much problem with the GPS crashing (beside the usual complaint of GPS lag that we all have come to love and get used to on the TP).

But just a few days ago, when i tried to use the gps (which i hadn't used for about a week), my phone started acting wierd. Got gps signal for a sec and completely lost it. soft reset didn't fix. tried to use another program (beelinegps) and TP would reset itself.

I then tried to do a back up restore with sprite back up. got some error msg about not able to restore the registry files. when i tried to do a back up of whatever left in the TP, sprite would fail at the end about not being able to back up some system file. Turned out after reading that if i disable the check for corrupt registry setting in sprite backup, then it would complete the backup (but probably with a corrupt registry). So here i am probably still sitting on a corrupt registry, possibly related to GPS or QuickGPS.

Anyone have any program they suggest to check and fix registry?
