Umm, are you supposed to cut the tape thingy covering the SIM card?
On the VZW TP2, it looks like a piece of silver paper/sticker/tape covering the SIM card. Are you supposed to cut that to pop the SIM out?

The left side of the 'tape' is perforated, like it's supposed to be cut?


Edit: All good, seems to be fine and still connected
