Re: Sprint replacing Touch Pro with Touch Pro 2!
I was at two local sprint service centers today because my tp has the same typical issues, heat, lockup, battery not charging, keyboard randomly not working etc etc etc. ALL Hardware issues.
The first service center was a privately owned reseller. All they offered me was to take a look at it and really tried their best for me to 'purchase' a new phone. Useless.
The second service center I went to was an official sprint store/service center and wouldn't you know it a friend of mine works there as the manager. He showed me first hand on his computer that he was unable to replace a tp with a tp2. It was listed but it said "NO" for replacement. He was more than willing to do it for me if he could do it. He showed me the list of phones I could replace it with and none of them were even in the same league. snap, intrepid, bunch of bb's. I really don't care about a tp2, but it would have been a nice new toy to mess with, now with the cdma being unlocked... so anyway, I arranged a replacement with another tp and hopefully it will work out with another refurb. *fingers crossed*
