You risk bricking or destroying your phone....you are warned so proceed if you are willing to
go here:
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Apache/Kitchens/New/

download these apps:
Helmi_WM6_Apache_Kitchen_071117_1.exe
rev3/PPCGeeks_OEM.rar

run the .exe and it will put a folder in your c: directory

put the "PPCGeeks_OEM.rar" into the main folder that was extracted by the .exe (default is BuildOS and there should be a link on the desktop)

Open the link that is located in the main folder: "Apache_Helmi_WM6 PPC-BuildOS". It will load up a default ROM setup and you can add software as you please. They set it up so that it is very easy.

- You can set the wallpaper that is displayed when you reset the phone.
- You also need to select your carrier (sprint, verizon, etc...)
- When you are ready to burn the ROM to your phone (THIS IS PERMANENT SO DO AT YOUR OWN RISK) his the button that looks like a play but at the top right. It will guide you through the process and the process typically takes around 10-20 minutes depending on how much you have installed.

tip #1:
If you are using bootloader 1.04 you need to set the option at the top called "RUU" to "x.04+" (it defaults to "standard") If you don't know how to tell what version of bootloader you are using press and hold the power button and the button that looks like a tape and then use your stylus to press the reset button. You can faintly see it but it will say either serial or USB (USB if you have the USB cable connected) and then below that will be a version number. I have 1.04. to get out of bootloader mode just hit the reset button. I haven't used any other 6700 but some people seem to have problems getting out of bootloader mode so DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
tip #2:
"HTC Home" which is close to the bottom of the list, is what makes your phone look all nice and cool like the HTC phones.
tip #3:
don't install everything because your ROM (which is where all the files that you select will be installed) only has so much space AND you can't delete any of the files that you selected to install with your custom ROM.

I say do at your own risk because there have been some people that have destroyed or "bricked" as some like to call it, their phone.
