Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5
Been trying the 21864 Rev.B, it's definitely noticably faster then the 23081. And MMS works, and Opera loading works, and no freezes yet. I haven't grabbed Rev.B of 23081 yet (downloading in a minute.) But still, SO glad NRG is ripping this up faster then we can download them. LOL. VERY NICE!! Will definitely be donating myself, as i feel it's worth it, and to give NRG more incentive to keep wanting to develop more with Herman ROMS.
So i noticed that (as mentioned) the interned tab opens up Opera 9.5 instead of the included 9.7 (guessing it's a registry change to fix, or manilla file edit), and the Weather Demo doesn't work (On friends touch pro 2 NRGROM2.5, it shows fullscreen of what each weather type looks like, and you swipe it up or down to flip through the different weather format's. IE-rain, clouds, sunny, snow, etc.) But otherwise it's an amazing ROM with SO much progress in such a little time!!!!
I am finding more and more things to remove from my Sashimi CAB file directory that i no longer need with these recent builds. Opera 9.7 is nicer to me (neat swipes with mini view as you click BACK and FORWARD, which recent 9.7 build i just grabbed doesn't even do.) and the Mail sprint cabs aren't needed anymore now for me as it's working out of the box. That's like 4-5 CABS right there alone!!!!
THANKS NRG!!!! You are amazing with this!!! I will be sending a donation soon myself to help continue your incentive to develop for us Touch Pro CDMA users!!!!! And i will tell my best friend to also donate for his Touch Pro 2 Rhodium ROM's you make. Double WIN!!!
Edit- I did also notice that both Telenav and Sprint software are both expired, and i followed Threefaces guide tip about installing both to keep that from happening, but it didn't work, and both showed expired. I have a Garmin GPS, and wouldn't find a use to pay for the one on my phone, but WOULD love to use it if possible in case.
