I wouldn't SASHIMI the 2.5 Manila ROMs until you played with them first to see what works and what doesn't...it's completely new and about half of my sashimi settings needed to be removed.
While I haven't tried it, is Touch Pro Tweeks still in the ROM for the remapping of the soft keys? Might give it a go.
For hardware keyboard stuff - try installing a different softkeyboard. That's the same issue we had on the last ROM release. Installing a different version of EZInput fixed the problem. Some are linked in this thread or my Guide.
I also don't know if it's 2.5 specific, but I've only been able to do Internet Sharing by using the program icon, not by selecting the option when I connect the USB [like when it says "active sync" or "data connection" or "internet sharing"]. I just connect the device, then go to the Internet Sharing Icon...it usually launches and connects fine. ...I'll need to confirm it's busted in 2.5.

Yea, I figured you were the mod dude to ask. I've seen some very nice packages for WVGA. I assume since the VGA 2.5 is relatively new, like all of the other past releases, it will just be a matter of time. ...but I'm on the hunt for a white flip clock.
...and yea, I had to put 2.5 down for now. I think it can all be fixed or worked around, but with 10/28 being so stable and awesome, I may hold for the next 2.5 release.
