I am running stock everything and am on Sprint. I don't use my GPS much, don't have too but tried on Sunday when I was in Houston and that is when I first noticed the problem. The usual random restarting that I have read on here. I read this thread this morning and saw the problem was fixed, I tried the GPS while driving home this afternoon from class with Google Maps. Found my location but never moved me, just kept saying searching for satellite signal. After 5 minutes or so, I got a message saying that I have a weak satellite signal, I need to have a clear view of the sky. There wasn't a cloud out today and it was worked from the cab of my truck before. The message asked if I wanted to keep searching for GPS signal or stop and I told it to stop. Then about 45 minutes later, after I exited Google maps and stuff, I was texting and the phone restarted...

Anyone else getting the weak signal message?

Brian
It's basically the same problem. When Google Maps gives you an initial location but never updates the position, usually that is because the initial location was approximated from cell tower or IP address. It is doubtful you ever got GPS to lock properly, which is why your position didn't update.
