I did this on my SD card. But, if it is not a nested folder, notepad will open it. This has not happened on my previous stock ROM or the few others that I have flashed.

Well, DON"T DO THAT! That's a problem with "Applications - PHM Notepad", I'll see if I can remember the file requirement to fix that, but I may just end up deleting it for now. You all can just use Word Mobile untel then. I'll put it on the list as well.
