PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD! THIS IS THE WEATHERPANEL ISSUE!

Sorry for shouting, but I've been looking for an answer on how to control what font HTC apps like Comm Manager and the Cube use for months and the threads keep getting closed by zealous mods before the question can be adequately researched and discussed.

On my system, I installed Trebuchet MS because I prefer that font for reading ebooks in eReader (it's a lovely sans serif font with just enough serif-like features to enhance readability without looking cluttered and crowded on a small screen, plus it has a taller line height than Tahoma, giving more space between lines of text). Since I did, the Kaiser 10 button comm manager and the cube both use a very tiny point size of Trebuchet rather than the standard font?

Why do they do this?

Where is this specified?

Is it in the registry?

Can it be changed?

I'd like to discuss possible answers if we can.
