A month later my TP hard keyboard died without fix so they sent me another, time to send back the first 0.40xxx. I relocked it, it said 0.40.xx again, and I sent it back.... never heard a thing. Then a couple weeks ago, I had a prizm under the screen show up and again they sent me a refurb() and again. 0.40.xxx. I unlocked it, relocked the bad unit and sent it back. Still no word from Alltel/Verizon busting me out. I believe the change in numbers is due to the official HTC upgraded ROM that was released this summer for the Alltel TPs and since anyone can flash the official HTC release without unlocking, the change in hard spl is no sign to them. Worked for me.
so, you said you had a 0.40.000 too? Did you use the hspl 0.37 to unlock it? did you use the "Raphael_CDMA_Relocker" to relock the phone? after you relocked the phone, it went back to 0.40.0000?
