I get the same exact behaviour. I got this after I installed tsowentaskbar6 WM6.5 version.cab on my TP2 with MightyROM.
Anyone have any clue how to fix this?

edit - i uninstalled the modded cab, and then installed GF's Bear rom taskbar and soft reset and still the same icon, i also tried swapping the shellres dll with one i modded a while back for wm6.5 and one from tsowens taskbar and still the same odd signal icon |
