How is it from a 'non-technical' user perspective? I love my TP2, but know that they are not in anyway interested in tinkering with it the way I am.
+1 for the review.

No problem!
The learning curve isn't really that steep. If they can use an Iphone, they can use this. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out most of the functionality but if you read through the manual it's pretty straightforward and helpful. It's easy to setup email if you have a google account already. You just type in your username and password and it does the rest. From that point it's just customizing it however you want.
You can also sync with outlook as well which is a bonus. Since getting my phone I've converted all my contacts and calendars to gmail and I couldn't be happier. Every time I make a change on my PC or phone it syncs to the other. So if I add an entry in google calendar, it will automatically sync to my phone's calendar and same with contacts. I guess this is what they call cloud computing...
Also, I forgot to mention in my review, it has a optical trackpad, which is kinda sensitive and there isn't really a way to modify that. But once you use it for awhile, you get use to it. I honestly don't use it that much cause of the touch screen. I mainly use it when surfing and I need to click on a tiny link or something. I'm actually glad it doesn't have a ball mouse cause I've heard they can get filthy dirty and could see possible problems down the line.
