On the stable NRG ROM it seems opera closes and that there's no push internet in manila2.5... so i'm wondering why so much used RAM now? Is this just what we should expect from using the new manila? Or is there a registry edit i can make to bring the ram down to something lower? Thanks!

that is about right... 70s... if you take a look at the proceses ( not applications) that are running. You will probably find gwes.exe running and talking up 30+. This is normal.. because it is resource proxy the catches memory. It prevents memory links. So there is no device slowdown and it improves performance. It is apart of the core of wm6.5
