I plugged the TMO sim into my Imagio, switched from Global to GSM and placed a call.

One thing to know is that in Global mode the phone will grab whichever signal is stronger, so if you live in an area that has weaker VZW signals and you are right under a TMO tower the phonen will go to GSM. Not good for my needs. I know keep the phone switched to CDMA only and don't worry about that. I don't give out my TMO number, just my GV number and if a call comes in on that number then I get a text on my VZW number and I know I have a call.

That works for me just fine but YMMV.

Bingo - that might work. Ive been wondering about that.

There seems to be a lot of conflicting information as to what the carriers each actually use... I'm trying to go to boost and they keep telling me the same thing because of the DEC having 18 digits instead of 11 / 11 / 15 for the 3 they allow on the cdma :/

Problem is when another person from the same imei/eidn/dec/wtfever branch gets activated, if the first 15 or however many digits matched.... might end up in hot water :P
