I read too. I have worked with and on WM devices for almost 10 years (before there was anything called Windows Mobile). I have a small idea of what I am talking about. 
The fact that the contacts info is shown in some videos and screen shots means absolutely nothing. So far there is no concrete information that says the HD2 will be coming to Verizon. If anything, history shows that it will not.
