HSPL, unlocks the phone to be able to flash new ROMS to the phone so you do not have to use that "crappy" factory ROM that is on the phone out of the box

Lefty11, you summerized it all on this reply, after going thru almost all the messages here.
OK, there are two part to this, one is unlock for custom ROM, the other is unlock for SIM so I can use ATT or T-mobile.
Where can I go and get the unlock for SIM for USA use? It will 100% work?
Can I get domestic SIM unlock and not the HSPL unlock?
