FYI you're meant to have all your data still intact. This is not a ROM you're flashing that will hard reset / wipe your device. It's the unlocker so that you will be able to flash a custom ROM as a separate process afterwards.

I was trying to do the voldown+power+reset combo before and it was just soft resetting... I tried it with more "passion" now and it went to the tricolor screen. Way to embarrass myself
But anyway, it was definitely weird to see the flashing process that could take 10mins to take less than 5 seconds.
