This is definitely wifi router..I had the same thing..whats funny is that the internet sharing still works aka the pc will still get internet but the phone itself will not.


This indicates that the phone is still getting internet properly but when application dial they are having an error connecting(you don't see the error because of the manilla interface)..my guess on the issue is somehow the wifi router rewrites for sharing internet so that when you dial it gets messed up.

Now the question may be is it WIFI Routers alone that are causing this issue or is it a combination of say no push internet + wifi router or etc..

remember as I said above..when wifi router dials it shares internet and it works, while when I use the browser on the phone it don't work.this shows that something has changed thats making the phone when requesting internet to dial again and improperly even if a connection is already running. on my mogul for example when I used internet sharing I was able to reuse the connection on the phone at the same time for example.
