Sure, simple fix. Figured it out all by myself
Open Build OS and wait for it to load completeley. Up on the top bar are Device,OS,RUU and Carrier. Click and select Verizon(in your case) and then click File on the top right hand and select save. This saves your carrier select to the selections file and eliminates the unknown carrier error, and will probably fix the other problems as well, since it sets the .prj pointers to look for your carrier.
