If the takedown notice is/was real -- which it more than likely isn't -- then MS could have all of XDA (and let's face it, large portions of this place, too) wiped off the Internet by the Power Invested in Millions of Lawyers and the Ultimate Power of the Copyright Infrigement Lawsuit of Bleeding You to a Dry Crusty Death. MS has effectively limitless resources if they wanted to bring them bear against an online community with effectively zero resources to fight such a battle.
Da_G knows this. We all should. I would say his actions speak pretty loud when viewed in that light.
