This happened to me too. I tried to wiggle it to "Death" I think i made it worse. Ending up FRUing the phone with VZW. Fru works just as well but the Bluetooth LED seems to be dimmer. Maybe its just me.
How about geting AKU3.x working on our 6700s. Time to take control of our PDAs. It is definately a known issue at tech support though
