The problem is basically you can see water wave like brightness change when press the screen. This is normal on non-touch LCD but touch screen should not have it. My friend's 6700 and my old mogul don't have it, no matter where you press it, the brightness is constant and no "water wave".

BTW, mine was manufactured on 10/27/07, if you have or don't have this problem, can you identify the production date please? I wonder if it's related to the earlier batch defects. Thanks. |
I have this issue and my manufacturing date is 10/24/07. I'm debating whether or not to take it to a service center to see if they will let me swap it out for another one. The problem is I don't think they're going to let me check every Touch in the store to find one that doesn't have the issue.
