For that matter, none of you know who I am or what type of contacts I (or anybody for that matter) has with any company. For all you know my sister could have developed the product roadmap for Verizon for the next 5 years... or could be the HTC inside product sales rep..
NONE OF THAT MATTERS. The point is that if you use a bit of common sense, the answer is clear. Read the first post until it becomes clear. The nature of commission based sales and a poorly informed sales force coupled with internet nitwits and slow product fulfillment are causing the rumors.
If you WANT a TP2 and know how to ask for one, you will get one. Stock is limited, not OUT. Here is a clue, they are taking care of business customers first. A few units at a time are released to web sales and so far it looks like none to the brick and mortar stores.
The utter lack of aggregate common sense in these threads is almost funny if not sad. Yes Verizon could shock us all and really discontinue the device, but in this case you are simply seeing a commission based sales force and poorly informed CSRs do what they do and an online community turn it into a real world rumor. Nice work folks ![Smile](http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Indeed, just call the insurance and get a BNIB one for $89 much easier than waiting for the website or calling any of the "customer service" lines
