Verizon is launching a whole new series of phones over the next few months; Verizon could simply have a contractual obligation with HTC to sell a certain amount of different devices over a certain period of time (which would answer why they haven't pulled the Touch Pro 2 from the web site).
Keep an open mind, for ever 10 people claiming that Verizon isn't canceling the device, I can get you 20 that say they are, and all of which come from within Verizon. Its been Verizon's biggest issue; consistent and accurate training of their employees, not to mention the above statement of being on commission and trying to get paid at the end of the day by getting a customer into another device.

LOL! It's not being discontinued. Is it so hard to believe that a CS would lie to pad their paycheck? That's a lot easier to swallow than the idea VZW would invest all they have into this phone and it's launch to sell some 10k or so phones.
