I see your running Photon. This is a known issue, and it's all over the
ROM thread. People are installing the "Juicy47 Western EZINPUT.cab" to resolve a lot of the keyboard anomalies. It's best to post your issues within that thread as you'll be more likely to get a faster (and accurate) response.
And yes I know it sounds strange to install a software keyboard to fix the hardware keyboard issues, but trust me it works.
