Re: Any Regrets?

I have had mixed feelings about the TP2. I came from a Diamond, which did have many faults, but the TP2 has faults of its own the Diamond didnt have.

The screen: its bigger on the TP2 but it feels 'mushy' and has alot of give in the center.. unfortunately really. As far as hardware goes, thats the only complaint. The keyboard is wonderful, the tilt screen is very nice, the build feels solid otherwise.

I get slowdowns, lockups, im constantly needing to reset the phone daily because of quirky problems like notifications not disappearing, or the phone not making calls. I have problems answering calls, the slide to answer on the screen is broken and never worked (unlike the Diamond which worked flawlessly in this regard) so i never use it. It doesnt answer calls it just goes to voicemail if i try to use it. Volume is WAY too low. The MSM7600 is a piece of crap, its sluggish at best, and locks up at worst. The browser doesnt show up in the task manager for some irritating reason. There are HORRIBLE memory leaks: last night I had nothing running and 90% used (25mb free) memory.. UNHEARD of on my Diamond.

Im hoping a cooked Rom will fix 90% of my issues and I will be happy again. I dont regret it because the Diamond overheated with MILD use, and the battery life was awful, as well as no keyboard with a tiny screen.
