I unfortunately feel your pain. Today I had it in the cup holder of my vehicle and went to grab it and it slipped out of my hand, not even 6" above the holder and I guess it hit PERFECT and just happened to give enuf shock to splinter a crack across a layer throughout the screen. It is still perfectly usable, it didn't affect the lcd just the layer above, and touch still works fine, but it is noticeable, and too pretty of a device to leave it that way so I went ahead and gritted my teeth and turned it into insurance. Ticks me off cuz I can't recall how many times I accidentally dropped my Touch Pro even on stone from 4-5' up and it had a small cosmetic damage but screen never cracked heh. This device feels like it is built so much better and it does this on a little tiny drop heh. Hope it was a fluke heh. But ya I turned it in. And I feel your pain. Sorry to hear man.
