Same as the difference from COM3 to COM4.
I have not been happy with most of the builds from 23064 on in COM3. I skipped 23081 and went right to 23502 and it seems more responsive than the last COM3 I used: 23071.
A number of folks over at XDA have reported issues w/23081 that were not there for them on older builds and are not present on 23502.
I'm not a "build chaser" myself, but I do believe in moving forward even if COM5 isn't much different than COM4 presently.
The fact that a new branch has surfaced certainly means COM4 won't have the latest features/enhancements going forward, so I just choose to go that route for now.
