thank you for the help, but as it turns out it it was user error (of course)...multiple, multiple instances of repeated user error.... the first time i used the VK everything went off without a hitch, but somehow every time after that i managed to forget to change the build number both in the XIP and SYS, i was only changing the build number in one of those- and i'm extremely embarrassed to admit that.. oh well, at least now i know the kitchen is working flawlessly, and hopefully i wont make this mistake again.

im glad you got it figured out... no prob we all make mistakes. took me a few months b4 i could get VK down..lol good luck on that rom
