No lockups, it's actually pretty smooth. But I'm definitely having the same issues that other people are having with the HTC Rhodium/Topaz Dialer. So when you're on the phone dialer screen you can't press contacts or some of the buttons. Also the rhodium notifications screen, when you get an email, you can't press to open whatever notification you've gotten. I've tried second today and ms toggler to go around that, but it doesn't seem to work with me.

Still, I've decided to stay with MS 3.5 because I still have the issues using PointUI and Touchflo 3d is just way to cumbersome to customize.

I don't need the notifications because SPB shows all your notifications on the home page, and so far, I haven't had to use my contacts screen while on a call. I know I will,but it's not every time.
