The unlock thread has been getting out of hand, for a few reasons:

- people getting impatient
- many people have subcscribed to the thread hoping for the unlocker release.
- abundant amounts of spam aggravating everyone who has subscribed to the thread.

Now, as a mod dealing with MANY unhappy users, you have to decide what needs to be done to rectify this. So, eliminating spam (deleting off topic posts) and hoping people get the message is the best option. I am an adult and choose to treat everyone else like an adult also, so I personally don't care to ban anyone. Nor should I. I have never been a fan of the iron-fist moderation style and I don't know any other mods here that are. this thread is highly viewed and this unlocker is so highly anticipated that we have to treat this thread as such.

Look everyone, once this unlocker hits this forum will go BANANAS, but please please PLEASE be patient. We ask nicely and you don't listen, we delete every off topic post then you complain about 'over-moderation,' so I don't really get bothered by this talk. It's inevitable, but I can assure you that if it were up to me, we would never have to do anything to moderate this place, just sit here and look pretty.
