You'll probably need a program like
GSen or
Zensor2 (I cannot speak as to the quality of either one as I don't use them) to auto-rotate the screen, including SprintNav, when the phone is tilted. That's the only way I know of to force landscape in any program that doesn't already support it (like Opera does) w/o extending the keyboard.
