I wonder how many people with the device really use the SD card. We're all "power users" who use most or all (or more than all
) of the device's functionality. Your standard business user who gets it for e-mail and calendaring might never even pop the card in.
I guess my point is, just because there aren't more reports of this doesn't mean it's not widespread. I'd be curious if anyone can report using the card on a frequent basis *without* seeing this issue.
By the way, I've seen a lot of reports on different boards about "pictures disappearing", or messaging having trouble. Since those items both can store data on the card, I wouldn't be a bit surprised that those problems have the same root cause.
