Just more proof Sprint's aware of this, doing nothing about it, and thus manually allowing customers to take advantage of this deal.

yep, and you can bet that if Sprint were paying more for these phones from HTC than competitor , that someone has been addressing this issue with HTC. That would stand to reason that Sprint is not going to sit there and eat losses all day long just to be the good guy on the block. When other folks dropped the price, Sprint began budging on their attitude towards dropping the price to be competitve...although they had to do it with credits and not discounting the phone. That looks to me like a deal they could present to HTC and recoup some loss or take it off in credit from HTC. I seriously doubt at this point in the game that selling at 199 bothers them a bit, considering the majority of people buying are switching to an everything plus plan . Not to mention they are also probably offsetting any other incurred cost by still getting 349.99 from tons of people. Heck they are exchanging the TP1 for TP2's no questions asked. I would think they have definitely worked something out with HTC at this point. A buddy of mine took his TP1 into an Authorized Sprint Repair Center, they ordered him a new TP2 and did not even ask for the TP1...LOL ..and we should feel bad about paying 199.99 for them??? I will be with Sprint for long time and already have been , they've taken thousands from my pocket(willingly),
and it would take some serious issues to make me switch carriers. Looks like sometimes their little "mistake" can be profitable . They aren't out to make money on their phones, they make it on their network....sorry to rant..but hope everyone wanting a TP2 cheap can find a way to get one...just think , then we might have some real clout when we eed something like a new ROM with WM 7 ...
