I doubt that is the case. I just made a comment similar to that of
fyyzer in another forum. I have been able to play around with store models of T-Mobile's and AT&T's Touch Pro2 (TP2). I still have yet to see one local Sprint store carry the TP2. How can you sell a product to non-web savvy customers if they don't know it exists. I felt the reason it wasn't in the stores is because it doesn't have WinMo 6.5 installed out-the-box yet. Sprint would be wise to have WinMo 6.5 on the in-store TP2 to avoid people bricking the phone during a ROM upgrade or failing to upgrade because they don't know a new ROM exists. It is harder to deal with calls to customer service when the same phone has either WinMo 6.1 or 6.5. People who ordered the TP2 via the web or directly from Sprint have shown they are knowledgeable enough to find out about and install the WinMo 6.5 upgrade for the TP2 when released.
