I do feel statistically early batch have more defects, then the manufacturer will improve either the model or other stuff based on the feedback.

Mine was from 10/27/07. I have waterwave on the LCD screen when I press it (supposed to be a touch screen), though I do not have any lockup on sleep mode and stuff.
