Ok so I got to my friendly neighborhood Sprint local retailer and briefly explained my woes(
). *NOTE* BEFORE DOING THIS, HARD RESET YOUR DEVICE *NOTE* <--otherwise they'll do it themselves and say "get outta here, it's fine now" So yeah, I asked if I can get a replacement so he then says "Of course, that's what I'm here for". ...or something to that effect. I took a deep breath and then dropped the bomb.
"Sir," I said, "is there any way I can get a comparable phone to the Touch Pro?"
"Sorry son, but you'll just get the same model."
Needless to say I was downtrodden and blue. So I was like, "wtf i already have a Pre, so who gives a shiite." And there, as I was fumbling around with the mock phones, Sprint rep processing the order, angels fell from the sky in glorious chorus when I heard...
"Actually, it's showing there are a few models you can choose from here"
I just about pooped my pants. After a joyous verse of Hava Nagila I went over to him as he showed me my options.
