just call the cancellation dept. and tell them how frustrated u r with the phone (gps lag, overheating, overnight lockups and overall slowness) thats universal with the touch pro. if u had more than one TP, then explain u do not want the same device. they will usually give u the choice to get a diferent device in-store. (im assuming u have total protection on this tp, u know the $7 a month). since the tp is the flagship device and nothing is higher in value, they will happily downgrade u to any other device. i did this with my tp and my wife's and we r getting 2 touch Pro2s to replace them by the store. they offered me the bb tour, treo pro or TP2. but u can pick and choose i think. as mentioned above, if u r not in a everything family plan, they will require u to upgrade your plan to get the hero in. so watch out for that. i have had 4 tps already and cant deal with the continuing problems. hope tha helps.
