...I never believe anything I read. If you're interested in getting MMs running, try my method. It will work.

Is there a cab for that? Will it work on 6.1?
Thanks for your help!

I doubt it will work on 6.1, butyou're looking for EZInput, I think...someone can correct me. Curious what mods/customizations you can do in 6.1 that you can't in 6.5? We have some mod savvy folks around here that could help you achieve the same results with new cabs and tweeks.

Heres my issue from before and still remains the same, sort of. My Location NEVER finds me. I tried Calks newest ROM (great BTW) to see if I could get my location to work since I GOOGLEd a resolution for "my location" issues and came up with his ROM having a cab fix for "my location" issues. I had already tried about 5 ROMs, 4 radios, combos of each and partridge in a pear tree, with no luck. No "my location" no matter what.
Then I tried Calks ROM and the cab fix, again no my location UNTIL I went into roam mode! Off roam no "my location", roaming and I get it and its goldenly accurate, and I love it the way I knew I would when it was supposed to work three builds ago. I returned home, I mean I flashed back to NRG, ran the "my location" fix cab and now I get "my location" when I roam just as with Calk's ROM.......SO does anyone have an idea why it would only work when Roaming, regardless of radio or ROM? I'm still digging, but I figured some users here would find this info curiously interesting.......
BTW: I have done all the GPS settings possible to allow this to work. i.e Quick GPS, Enable GPS assist watchamacallit, set Google Maps manually, etc.

OK...my experiences *may* help. I had a bidnass trip up to NY this past weekend. ROM in hand, I jumped in me Jeep and started up from DC through PA and into NY. I think I experienced EVERY issue that folks have reported. My Location has always worked perfectly for me...it's fast and pretty accurate. As I was rolling through PA, I decided to randomly start checking MyLocation to see how well it works in different locatins of varying connectivity [6 hour drive, I was bored]. I didn't make any sort of scientific conclusion other than "it's gonna work or not work depending largly on your location and connectivity". At one point it pulled the Weather from another time zone [while rolling through the rural parts of PA]. I refreshed shortly after, when I got closer to a city and it pulled local weather...but it displayed "My Location" not the name of the city. Later, up in NY, it found me [but used a city 10-15 miles away]. I was roaming on and off, and I get shady service sometimes where I stay in NY, so I don't have definite conclusions as to whether I was certainly roaming or what. In all cases, I was also able to launch Sprint Nav [to check GPS connectivity] and all was well.
Yesterday, off a fresh flash, I actually got the "#777" error on the weather tab. That was a first. Updating AGPS fixed it right up.
So yea, I don't know if that helps or if it's bummer news. I think where you live may have a lot to do with how well this all works.

Ooooooh, don't let a few reg edits scare you.
....at least you know where to look if and when you do want to hook up your Action Screen. It's a cool feature, especially when you custom map the icons to custom programs.
