If you are comfortable taking it apart or if it's out of warranty you can actually replace the digitizer. It's not very hard but would void any warranty you have left on the phone.

My dog got my vogue in her mouth and chomped down cracking the LCD panel. I went to a local used site similar to craiglist (usedottawa.com) and put a wanted add for a broken Vogue. Someone replied and I salvaged the LCD from it to save my vogue. Cost me $30CAD. Now that I have my Touch pro my Vogue is largely used as a planner and GPS device. I can't bring myself to sell it. She was my very first smart phone. I still love her even though we have grown apart.
