Ugh, yeah a different connection will work.

You could probably make a mortscript that kills the process, and put that script in your startup folder

HTC_CM_Guardian.exe is the problem... we need a "do nothing" exe - rename that to HTC_CM_Guardian.exe, copy it into \Windows, and you should be good to go.
