so who else is ready with a kitchen or ROM when the HSPL drops? From the looks over at the upgrade section of the TouchPro forum, lots of folks are still on the TP...
yes prepping a kitchen up but mine may be a late release or not at all because I'm rather lazy to support my work =)

I'll post a rom once I find its perfected
but essentially if you want to make your own kitchen grab a dump of your 6.1 os and make a folder called rom dump in your blank kitchen directory (I use VK 1.8.1)
in ervius select dump nbh and the kitchen will pick that up
from there, what I did was ported my xip to the newest release (I have 23070 oddly dunno why the one went bye bye) and I have been testing some roms with general vzw bloatware. I haven't begun to modify the kitchen to a better system...I mean if people want me to share my kitchen okay but it is essentially bare bones...
also I am new to the VK experience

as far as customization goes the good news is that there are a panoply of lessons/tutorials out on the web

I honestly suggest browsing xda and everythingdiamond for some rather excellent tutorials and in general a more open place for discussion

htcpedia is also a good spot for developers too as most new things for one platform (the x1) is implemented there; but there are quite a few files that are of interest to all devices (like rotastrain's landscape for manila 2.5 - though it is buggy it has the best promise for now until htc releases new builds based on future devices.

All that aside the process is killing I had to restart my kitchen twice because of 2 or 3 blunders and I haven't gotten up from my seat all day long

electronicrice maybe you can help me with some brief FAQ on how to make a carrier generic rom at your leisure

*goes back to testing his roms*
