had the exact same problem about 3 months ago. It started that way and for me sliding out the keyboard or pulling the battery was the only way to fix it and it always happened after it goes off and i hit the power button to wake it back up. It kept getting progressively worse until it went out and never awoke! I had to return it, and imagine how hard it is to flash to stock and relock without the da#n screen working!!
