Just a shot in the dark here, but on another forum I read that people were experiencing the "not waking up" issue

if you have custom ringtones stored on your SD card you may miss calls if the unit does into standby. I guess the unit powers down the SD card slot so it takes some time or can't find the ringtone

I can't find the original post but I remember them saying it was not just an issue with the Touch.
