Re: TP2 Not charging to 100% . . . Anyone else?
I can vouch for the phone not charging once it turns green. While riding my bike it tends to overheat when charging + using radio (for internet radio) Not nearly as easy or as much as my TP1 but it still does it. It seams this phone makes a lot more heat while charging then the radios do (which was backwards on the TP1)
Anyway while watching the charging patterns you can see it reach 100% for about 10 minutes as it gets closer and closer to full. (the LED is still orange but it reads 100%. I can watch the phone go from full charging at 878mA slowly decresing down to about 500-400mA. At around the point the battery hits 4.2V (give or take) the light goes green and the phone stops charging completely. It still reads 100% but will not begin charging again untill the battery drops to around 3.8v. Once it does that it will turn orange again and do the same charging cycle again usually stating its now at 96% Give or take. It is kind of a bummer the phone cannot run on AC power alone like past PPC's (my X50V for example) which in turn would charge the battery to full then leave it alone untill it is needed to power the device. For some reason in the latest battery app for the TP2 from nuetools, the options seam to do very little or nothing on my phone. I wish he threw out a readme so I could understand what the checkbox for "allow phone while on AC with no battery" does and such. If that allowed the phone to continue to run while the battery reads 0% then that would be kinda nifty in my case.
