I understand that the laptop doesn't need to be physically connected to the phone with a wifi router, BUT, do that you must have wifi connection avaliable, no, and you don't need that to use ICS over USB tether?
If I want to surf the web when I do not have a wifi connection available, then a wifi router is of no use, right? My only choice is ICS over either USB or BT?
Just trying to understand to be sure that I am thinking correctly that a wifi router is not of any help to me.
Thanks.
