Re: Opinion on physical keyboard
I love the left arrow/right arrow tip to go back one word or forward one word (I didn't even know ctrl/arrow did that)... I have it doing this only in my mail program and defaulting to normal shortcuts otherwise.
What other shortcuts have people mapped?
Here are mine:
fn/A-C-V-X mapped to ctrl/a-c-v-x
Mute button to screen rotate unless in a call where it defaults back to mute. I have long press mapped to the comm manager
Power button remapped on long press to a program that allows me to slide to reset.
Fn/. mapped to app-key (93). This emulates tap and hold (very cool)
Fn/t mapped to tab
Fn/space mapped to left win key which is the start menu
Fn/enter mapped to "Close active window". works like the OK button
Fn/mailbox mapped to TF3 programs tab
Fn/SMS mapped to taskmanager
SEND mapped to taskmgr for long press
HOME mapped to TF3 programs tab for click, left win key(start menu) for double click, TF3 home tab for long press
BACK mapped to messaging for double click, pocket Alarm for long press
END mapped to Enter key for press, Default key action (End call) for long press
VOL UP mapped to up for press, volume up for long press
VOL DOWN mapped to down for press, volume down for long press (secondary rule setup during phone conversations to restore mappings to default values)
I particularly like the volume up/down and end key remappings that allows me a basic d-pad type operation (without the left/right obviously)
